OPPORTUNITY:

Due to our rapid growth, Iovate Health Sciences Inc. has a full time, permanent opportunity for a Demand Analyst within our Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities and a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting and Planning. In addition, the ideal candidate will have been exposed and involved in the implementation of an S&OP process and forecasting software.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develop and maintain 24 months rolling forecast through Statistical Methods using the Atlas Planning tool and consensus process
• Lead statistical and technical analysis of historical and forecast data.
• Lead end to end forecasting process for assigned brand portfolio, including validation of statistically generated forecasts, overlaying of business intelligence and effective consensus reviews.
• Achieve FA, Bias & Stability targets for assigned brand portfolio.
• Conduct “root cause” analyses.
• Develop and maintain base + lift forecast.
• Facilitate new SKU launch, discontinuation, Phase-in/Phase-out and product substitution in Atlas Planning system.
• Learn and become the Super-User of the Atlas Planning System.
• Participate in the monthly S&OP Process.
• Work closely with Production Planning to maintain service fill rate and inventory turns targets.
• Facilitate weekly consensus meetings with Sales and Operations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Post Secondary education that can be directly applied to the food, pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing arena.
• Experience in Logistics, Production Planning, Supply Chain processes and Inventory Management
• Experience working in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
• Experience in developing and implementing processes and structure with respect to sales forecasting and production planning.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent skills in using Microsoft Access, Excel and Word.
• Experience working with John Galt and/or Great Plains would be an asset.
• Specific software experience with Atlas Demand Management.
• Ability to work independently in a cross functional environment.
• Have a process oriented thinking approach with strong organizational skills
