POSITION DESCRIPTION:
EnerNOC has an immediate need for an Analyst working in the Supply Chain
department. The mission of Supply Chain is to provide hardware and logistical
support for site installations in a timely, efficient, high quality, and cost
conscious fashion. Our key objectives are to provide outstanding customer
service and responsibly manage EnerNOC’s significant investment in hardware
assets.
In order to meet our goals, Supply Chain needs to do many things well
– including supplier management, forecasting and planning, order
fulfillment, logistics, and financial reporting. Accordingly, the ideal
candidate will be good at many things. They will have excellent
quantitative, computer, and communications skills, and will thrive in a
fast paced environment balancing multiple objectives. The successful
candidate will have a relentless focus on quality and process

THE SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS:
- Build and utilize reporting, forecasting, and database tools to
improve productivity and decision making
- Provide analytic and reporting support to management
- Lead process improvement projects
- Back-up and support daily supply chain operations
- Work with internal customers to identify process gaps, document
requirements, and propose solutions
- Participate in vendor negotiations, and collaborate with vendors to
set up new products and improve processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
- BA/BS with strong analytical or quantitative skills
- First-rate MS Office (Excel, MSQuery, Access, PowerPoint) skills
- Strong quantitative, statistical, and forecasting skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability
to utilize these skills across diverse audiences
- Familiarity with basic concepts of supply chain management
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and the proven
ability to apply creativity and objectivity while solving technical
problems
- Self-motivation with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment
- Poise and tact to be able to communicate clearly and with confidence
to management
- Strong desire and aptitude to quickly learn new technologies
- Passion for the energy industry
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
- Programming experience (SQL, visual basic, Java, other database)
- Experience in inventory management, forecasting, or supply chain
management
- Experience working with supply chain, forecasting, ERP, or field
management systems
