As a matter of fact, this $2B company is coming off its best year in their 75+ year history – growing sales by 19% and net profit by 24%.

Looking to grow further this coming year, the company is putting a very heavy emphasis on continuously improving their Supply Chain Planning processes. As a result, we are looking for a Supply Planner / Operations Planner to join a team that prides itself in having fun at work.

Position Description:

Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Supply Planning, the Supply Planner will be responsible to manage the supply chain from receipt of forecast and placement of P.O. to goods receipt, ensuring product is available to meet customer demand. This includes:

• Identify excess, obsolete and discontinued inventory issues
• Drive inventory planning enhancements to maximize service levels (in-stocks) and inventory turns, while minimizing operational constraints
• Develop and maintain metrics to monitor vendor performance
• Direct communication with overseas vendors

Background Required:

The ideal candidate for this role will be a current or former Supply Planner, Operations Planner, Production Planner, Supply Chain Planner or Demand Planner that genuinely understands the end-to-end supply chain process flow from customer demand to store shelf. Additionally, someone that:

• Is a highly energetic, self-starter with 5+ years experience
• Experience with high-volume Retail / CPG supply chains
• Effective use of forecasting applications like SAP (APO DP), Oracle, Manugistics, i2, Logility, etc
• Bachelor’s Degree
• APICS (CPIM / CSCP) or IBF (CPF) a plus
• Proven track record of success in similar role.

Compensation Plan:

• $80 - 105K + 10% bonus
